Mr. Dominik Ahlers successfully passed his doctoral examination with his dissertation on the subject of "Parameter and process optimization for the L-PBF process under consideration of thermal post-treatment using the example of the alloy Ti6Al4V" on 07.05.2020. The PhD Commission, consisting of the experts Prof. Dr. Thomas Tröster and Prof. Dr. Gunter Kullmer as well as Prof. Dr.-Ing. Volker Schöppner (Chairman) and Prof. Dr. Ilona Horwath congratulated the new Dr.-Ing. The DMRC and LiA as well as family and friends are also pleased about this success. We congratulate him and wish him all the best for the future. Furthermore we are happy Dr. Ahlers remains with us as a colleague at the university for the near future.
