Lena Risse was awarded the Junior Prize of the DVM

Lena Risse was recently awarded the "Junior Prize" of the German Association for Materials Research and Testing (DVM) in Berlin during the third conference "Additive manufactured components and structures".

Lena Risse is a research assistant in the Institute of Applied Mechanics and received the coveted junior award for her lecture on "CAE-based optimization of a hip implant using the potential of additive manufacturing processes".

The prize is endowed with 200 euros, is awarded once a year per conference and includes a one-year free membership in the DVM.
