Research

Due to its interdisciplinary structure and the large number of involved chairs and professors the Direct Manufacturing Research Center (DMRC) handles projects in many research and application fields. These are mainly focused on, but not limited to:

  • material science and development
  • process development
  • mechanical behavior
  • design technology
  • costs
  • strategic investigations

Based on the funding source, the handled projects are divided into internal and external projects. To get more information about and a list of all currently running projects please check one of the boxes below. Also all finished projects and our publications are listed.

Internal projects are initiated, steered and performed within a very close cooperation with the DMRC’s industry partners.

External projects are focused on research contents initiated by public funding or companies, which are not (yet) DMRC industry partners.

Finished projects summarize projects that have already been performed.

Publications list published papers, presentations and research reports
