DMRC is a member of the platform "Industry 4.0"

Since March 2018, the DMRC has been a member of the platform "Industry 4.0" of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Economics and Energy. The overall goal of the Industry 4.0 platform is to secure and expand Germany's leading international position in the manufacturing industry. In this way, the upcoming digital structural change has to be driven forward and the necessary uniform and reliable framework conditions have to be created. The aim of the platform is to develop a unified overall understanding of Industry 4.0 in dialogue with business, science, politics, trade unions and associations. To this end, recommendations for a successful transition to industry 4.0 will be developed and illustrated on the basis of application examples.
